Mayo-less Tuna Salad

This tuna salad is to die for, honestly. It’s sweet from the relish, tangy from the lemon, and has a nice bite from the bell pepper. It’s not fishy and is certainly not missing the fatty mayo. This tuna salad is a new reinvented way and surely won’t disappoint. The flavors are amazing and something you wouldn’t except from a simple tuna salad. This is definitely worth a try and trust me you’ll be amazed at how good it tastes. This tuna salad is best served as a sandwich with a slice of refreshing tomato and crunchy cucumber. It’s also fabulous with whole wheat crackers or atop a bed of greens. It’s a mind blowing recipe that left both me and my mom amazed when I created it. Sometimes the best creations are simply spontaneous and made while experimenting. Hope you all love this as much as me and my marvelous mom do.

  • 1 can of tuna fish
  • 2 tbsp sweet relish
  • 1 tbsp brown mustard
  • ½ tsp dill
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Zest of one lemon
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/8 of a red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tbsp raisins


  • Open and drain can on tuna fish and put into a medium sized bowl.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Put in fridge until nice and cold and flavors have time to develop, about 15 minutes to overnight, and enjoy!
