Great healthier alternative to traditional chocolate mousse or pudding!
I love taking a traditional recipe and creating a healthier version. This healthy chocolate mousse is a excellent vegan dessert you can throw together in now time. The main three ingredients of this chocolate mousse are banana, avocado and cacao powder.I’ve been a fan of avocado mousse for a long time. Recently, I’ve started adding bananas, which together with avocado creates the creamiest consistence. This mousse is loaded with antioxidant and important nutrients. Avocado provide nearly 20 essential nutrients, including fiber, potassium, Vitamin E and B-vitamins. While bananas are a good source of Vitamin C, Dietary fiber, Manganese, Potassium and a very good source of Vitamin B6. I like serve this chocolate mouse topped with pineapple or fresh berries.
Ingredients: ( Serves 2).
2 bananas (ripe)
5 large medjool dates
3 tsps- cacoa powder.
1-2 tsps marble syrup (or honey).
4 tsps almond milk
